This workshop is for every bride that has felt overwhelmed by the planning process and underwhelmed by the bridal shows. It’s for the bride who wants to mix and mingle with and hear advice from Connecticut’s premier wedding professionals. It’s for the newly engaged as well as the halfway there bride. This experience is for you!

Hi! I'm Lauren O, Mom, Wife, Wedding Planner and creator of Wifey for Life.

While planning my own wedding I longed for education and information from trusted wedding professionals. I went to so many bridal shows and would leave disappointed and overwhelmed. Once I began planning weddings for a living I decided it was time to offer an alternative to the bridal show. So, we created one!

Wifey for Life will be a series of workshops that will cover every component of wedding planning from curating your theme to choosing the right linen. Each session is presented in a classroom setting where Connecticut’s premier vendors can educate brides from all over Connecticut about the different facets of wedding planning. Without the stuffy banquet halls, impossible to win raffles and generic handouts.

There are so many vendors out there and the web is full of so much information. So, who do you book? What questions do you ask? What is your wedding style? Wifey For Life is designed to help ease the anxiety and uncertainty often felt while planning a wedding in a relaxed, non bridal show atmosphere.

Subscribe to our blog to stay current on workshops, receive planning advice and the occasional awesome vendor spotlight and giveaway.

Cheers to the best time of your life!

Lauren O

There is no obligation to book any of the featured vendors and you will not be sold anything during the workshop. This is a purely fun and educational experience!!

Awesome! No really, we have created an amazing bridal experience. All sessions will be held on Sunday mornings at the vendor’s studio or a venue related to that session’s topic.

Mini sessions will begin at 11am with registration, followed by a cocktail brunch social and introductions. Around 11:30 we will begin the workshop and allow the featured vendor to take over. Once their presentation is complete the floor will open for any questions. After that brides are welcome to mix and mingle. The session ends right around 1pm.

The full day workshop will be just that, a full day of sessions, socializing and good food! The day will flow similarly to the mini session with registration at 11am and cocktail brunch social, but there will be multiple speakers/topics and a catered lunch. As always there will be plenty of time to mingle and ask questions. The workshop will end around 3pm.
